During the summer I wear a "Breacan" kilt that I purchased on the Internet several years ago, which is much lighter than my regular tartan kilts. However, when I am walking any distance, I find it very annoying to have a leather sporran bouncing around in front of me. Therefore, I usually wear Utilikilts (which have large cargo pockets) or Amerikilts (which have a cloth pouch).
