This forum has gone on much longer than 10 days without a response. And in
this time frame of the year with schools getting out and graduation; mothers
and fathers day and all sorts of vacation planning this forum will be in a lull
of sorts. The prime time activity is during the winter months when the members
are cooped up; can't find a good book to read - a movie to go to and heck who
wants to socialize out and about in the cold when they can express their
thoughts around a warm monitor and keyboard.I have witnessed the forum going for almost a month on many occasions without
a post-reply let alone a casual fleeting glance (view) from anyone.
This is actually a blessing in that spammers and their ilk love to participate
in active forums causing their insurrections and mayhem to flourish.
But not here - this is your everyday forum where everything is very casual and
laid back.It really is nice being a part of this very low maintenance forum.
Probably another reason that this forum does not get the attention it once did
was the Bravehearts movement has taken a second fiddle so to speak to the
freestylers and other members seeking either the total orthodox kilt forum -
(think XMarks) or the more jovial and casual Brotherhood of the Kilt.
The freestylers have drifted over to the SkirtCafe and/or Skirts4Men forums.
This is good in that an individual can fit in and relate directly with the
level of MUG wearing that describes their lifestyle. I participate in a number
of these forums (except for X-Marks - way too orthodox for my taste) and this
is great that these forums have created a niche for someone to identify his
MUG activity whether it be a Kilt; a Skirt/skort or whatever your fancy. There is room for everyone and some forums are going to be more active than
others for the moment this one is fairly quiet.rm
